Partner Sandbox Access Terms
Version 2026-08-18-v2 · effective 18 August 2026 · eFaktura s. r. o., Klčové 94/19, 915 01 Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO) 57 465 738, Tax ID (DIČ) 2122749607, VAT ID SK2122749607
1. What sandbox access is
Registering via developers.efaktura.sk grants you test (sandbox) accessto the eFaktúra Partner API, and to the SAPI-SK interface of the Slovak Financial Administration where applicable, under eFaktúra's test environment. Sandbox access exists solely to develop and test your integration, not to process real business documents and not for production use.
The sandbox key (and any issued SAPI-SK test credentials) talks to the Peppol TEST network, not the production Peppol network. Documents sent through the sandbox are not delivered to real recipients and have no legal effect as an actual e-invoice.
2. Sandbox is free of charge; moving to production
Sandbox access is free of charge for as long as you use it in compliance with these terms and within the fair-use limits below. This does not extend to production (live) access.
Production access is activated on the basis of a partner agreement concluded electronically: we generate the agreement automatically with commercial terms taken from the current public price list, and you sign it with a one-time code delivered to your e-mail (no drawn signature is used). Signature evidence (time the code was verified, masked e-mail address, IP address) is retained and forms part of the signed PDF.
No invoice is issued up front for activating production access, and no prepayment is required. Fees are charged monthly in arrears based on actual transaction volume at the rates in the public price list, where one sent invoice or credit note = 1 transaction and one received electronic invoice = 0.5 transaction. If the partner agreement is signed by 30 November 2026, an introductory period applies: until 30 November 2026 no fee is charged for transactions up to the limit stated in the agreement (transactions above that limit are billed at the standard rate). The binding prices, limits and payment terms are always those in the partner agreement and its Annex 1; these sandbox terms do not set them.
Receiving electronic invoices in the eFaktúra product is free within fair use (up to 400 received documents per calendar month on the free plan) under Article 9 of the Terms of Service; in partner (API) mode a received document is metered as 0.5 transaction per the paragraph above.
3. Fair use: 100 documents per day
To keep the sandbox fast and available for every partner, a limit applies per partner sandbox account: 100 documents (invoices/requests) per calendar day. The limit is computed for the current calendar day and resets the next day. eFaktúra may adjust the limit as needed; any change is reflected in a new version of these terms.
Exceeding the limit may result in temporary throttling or rejection of further requests until the current day resets. Repeated or substantial overuse is grounds for revocation under section 4.
4. Revocation on misuse
eFaktura s. r. o. may suspend or revoke sandbox access (key, SAPI-SK test credentials) immediately and without prior notice where it identifies, in particular:
- an attempt to process real personal or payment data in the sandbox,
- automated or targeted attacks, vulnerability scanning, or load materially exceeding the fair-use limit,
- sharing the key with a third party who is not an authorised representative of the partner,
- circumventing the sandbox's technical limits, or attempting unauthorised access to production systems,
- false or misleading information supplied at registration (e.g. a non-existent company ID).
After revocation, a partner may request new sandbox access once the cause of the misuse has been remedied, unless eFaktura s. r. o. decides otherwise (e.g. on a repeat violation).
5. No SLA
The sandbox environment is provided on a best-effort basis without any availability guarantee (SLA), without a guaranteed response time, and without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. The sandbox may become temporarily unavailable at any time due to maintenance, a new release, or a technical fault, including without prior notice.
Production (live) access and any SLA that may apply to it are governed by a separate partner agreement. These terms do not cover it.
6. Disclaimer of liability
The sandbox is provided "as is" and "as available". eFaktura s. r. o. is not liable for damages, lost profit, or other harm arising from the use, unavailability, error, or outage of the sandbox, except where liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Test data in the sandbox (including generated test documents) has no legal validity, and eFaktura s. r. o. does not guarantee its retention for any given period. Sandbox accounts and their data may be deleted without notice, particularly after a prolonged period of inactivity.
7. Intellectual property
The API, documentation, SDKs, and other materials made available under the sandbox remain the property of eFaktura s. r. o. (or its licensors). Registering does not grant you any licence or right beyond what is necessary to develop and test your integration against the sandbox environment.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time, for example when fair-use limits or the scope of the sandbox change. The current version is always available on this page, and its identifier (version) is part of the consent you confirm at registration. If the terms version changes in the meantime, the registration form will ask you to reload the page and re-confirm the current wording.
9. Personal data and sandbox data
When you register we process data about you as the partner's representative (name, e-mail, phone, company identifiers, and the IP address and time of consent including the version of these terms and of the Privacy Policy) as a controller: details, including retention periods, are in the Privacy Policy.
Do not put real personal or payment data into the sandbox. It is not intended for processing such data and is not covered by the Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which is concluded only with production access. If you nevertheless enter real personal data, you do so at your own responsibility as the controller and we are entitled to delete it. Sandbox data and inactive sandbox accounts may be deleted under section 6.
10. Governing law
These terms and any relationships arising from them are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic; the courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction over disputes. The binding language is Slovak; translations are informative. Production access is governed by a separate partner agreement, which prevails in the event of a conflict with these terms.
